PiecestoFit currently utilizes Not a Number in different school settings with teenagers and young adults. Our programming is designed to be interactive, developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, and sensitive to the experiences of youth who may have encountered trauma, family instability, discrimination, or other adverse circumstances.

Rather than relying solely on lectures, our prevention approach incorporates guided discussions, realistic scenarios, interactive activities, reflection, and opportunities for participants to practice recognizing warning signs and identifying safe responses.

We recognize that many young people may not identify certain behaviors as grooming or exploitation, particularly when those behaviors are presented as affection, financial assistance, protection, or opportunities for belonging.

Through our prevention program, we help youth develop the ability to distinguish healthy relationships from exploitative relationships, understand personal boundaries, recognize coercive behaviors, and identify appropriate resources when concerns arise.
